GARY, Ind.- The IU South Bend Titans (8-12, 6-3 CCAC) ended their five-game winning streak with a loss to the Indiana University Northwest RedHawks (12-6, 3-4 CCAC) by scores of 12-25, 22-25, 27-25, 22-25.
Abby Seeger led the Titans offensive attack with 19 kills, while CCAC Setter of the Week
McKenzie Powell continued to impress in all aspects of the game with 37 assists, 15 digs and two kills. Senior
Alexis Issette ended the contest with 10 kills while also posting four blocks on the defensive end.
Outside hitter Emileishka De Jesus fueled the RedHawks on both sides of the ball with 14 kills and 13 digs. Sophomore middle blocker Erica Packwood posted an efficient 14 kills on just 33 attempts, for a hitting percentage of .333
The IU South Bend Titans return to action on Tuesday, October 11, as they travel to Chicago, Ill., to take on the Lakers of Roosevelt University at 8:00 PM.
