SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The IU South Bend Titans swept the Judson Eagles on Tuesday, September 13, to even their CCAC Conference record at 2-2 and move themselves into a tie for 4th place in conference. The loss dropped Judson to 1-2 in conference and under .500 at 6-7 for the season.
Tied at 7-7 in set one, IU South Bend took the lead thanks to one of nine kills from sophomore middle hitter
Felisha Campanello. The Titans held the lead throughout the rest of the set and ended up winning 25-19, with the winning kill coming from
Abby Seeger for one of her 16 kills on the night, assisted by
McKenzie Powell for one of her match-leading 34 assists.
Set two saw the Titans leading a back and forth affair 14-12 before they rattled off nine straight points to ultimately win the set 25-18.
Set three was the closest match of the night. Tied as late as 20-20, the Titans scored five of the next eight points to win 25-23.
The IU South Bend Titans have a week off from play before returning to action on Tuesday, September 20, against the Cougars of IU Kokomo.
