Hanna Breaks Records on Way to CCAC Weekly Honor

CHICAGO --- Senior libero Sydney Hanna was off the charts last week, setting new standards for IU South Bend Volleyball. The peak performances from Hanna caught the eye of the league offices, as she was named Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Defensive Player of the Week.

Hanna covered the Titans' back row with an exceptional week of defensive play, highlighted by a program-record 45 digs in a five-set battle against Viterbo. The senior libero also surpassed 500 digs on the season, marking another program record as she continues to raise the bar for IU South Bend's defensive excellence.

Across three matches last week, Hanna totaled 68 digs, averaging more than 6.8 per set, while also contributing six assists and three service aces. Her consistency and leadership on the court have been vital to the Titans' success throughout the 2025 campaign.

This marks the first CCAC weekly award of the season for Hanna.

The Titans will battle IU Northwest in their home finale on Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
