Three Softball players honored by CCAC

CHICAGO, Ill. - Three members of the Softball team were honored by the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference with the conference's postseason awards. Senior Jordan Watts was named First Team All-CCAC while Senior Maddie Leisher and Graduate Student Summer Johnson were named Second Team All-CCAC.

Senior Jordan Watts earned both First Team All-CCAC and made the All-Tournament Team for her impressive stat line at the plate. Watts finished the year hitting .374 with 12 doubles, one triple, two home runs, and 19 RBI. Watts led the Titans in both doubles and batting average this season. The Schoolcraft, Mich. native also led the team in hits during conference play with 23 during the teams 16 game conference schedule.

Senior Maddie Leisher was selected as a Second Team All-CCAC representative hitting .321 with nine doubles, three triples, four home runs, and 26 RBI. Leisher led the Titans in triples, home runs, and RBI this season. The Lizton, Ind. native ends her well decorated career with this being her fourth time named to the All-CCAC team. Leisher was First Team All-CCAC in 2024 and 2022, Second Team All-CCAC in 2023, and was named CCAC Freshman of the Year in 2022.

Graduate Student Summer Johnson earned Second Team All-CCAC hitting .344 with 10 doubles, one home run, and 24 RBI. Johnson led the team with a .406 OBP and was third on the Titans with a .846 OPS. Johnson also led the team in batting average during CCAC play hitting .426 during the Titans 16 conference games this season.
