Titans sweep Calumet, remain unbeaten at home

SOUTH BEND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (10-12, 8-3 CCAC) swept the Calumet College Crimson Wave (7-12, 3-8 CCAC) by scores of 25-16, 25-22, 25-12.

Tuesday's victory marks the sixth win in the last seven games for the Titans and also moves IU South Bend into a tie for third place in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. With six games left in the regular season the Titans currently hold the tiebreaker over the other two third place teams. 

The Indiana South Bend offense was led by Abigail Seeger with 16 kills, Alexis Issette with eight kills, and Felisha Campanello with seven kills. 

McKenzie Powell continued her success in the passing game, posting at least 40 assists for the fourth time this season. Powell also added eight digs, two aces, and a kill to go along with her 40 assists. 

Defensively, Amber Jacobs and Suriya Van der Oord each posted 13 digs. At the net, the Titans tallied a season-high of 16 blocks. Felisha Campanello led the way with five blocks, Alexis Joyner finished with four, and Abigail Seeger finished with three. 

The Indiana University South Bend Titans return to action on Thursday, October 20th, at 7:00 PM as they look to remain unbeaten in the Student Activities Center against Saint Xavier University.
