Box Score 2 GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Indiana University South Bend volleyball concluded the non-conference season on Saturday, falling to Bethel University (3-1) and RV Lawrence Tech (3-0) at the Cornerstone Classic. The Titans fall to 12-11 overall and return to conference play next week.

In the first match of the day against the Pilots, IUSB fell 25-21, 25-27, 20-25, 19-25. Senior Robbie Berg led the way with 12 kills while sophomore Courtney Lengacher added a career-high and game-high 41 assists. Junior transfer Hannah Marchand added a double-double with 10 kills and 13 digs.
Senior Samantha Hocksta had a team-high and game-high 27 digs on the defensive end and senior counterpart Sydney Lubinski added two block solos and two block assists.
Against the Blue Devils, the Titans were swept 25-16, 25-14, 25-19 for the first time since Oct. 3 at Trinity International. Once again, Berg led the way on the offensive side with 10 kills while Lengacher added 26 assists. Hockstra grabbed 19 digs for the fourth game of the weekend but it just wasn't enough as the Titans dropped their third straight match, Saturday.
IUSB returns to conference play on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Saint Xavier. First serve is set for 8:00 p.m. (EST).
