Box Score UPLAND, Ind.- The Indiana University South Bend Titans (0-10) wrapped up their tournament at Taylor University by dropping both games, losing game one in three sets to Indiana University East (9-3) before dropping the second match of the day to Mount Vernon Nazarene (12-0).
The IU South Bend offense was led by hitters
Kaitlynn Bennett,
Ryleigh Grott, and
Taylor Hostetler who all finished the day with double digit kills.
Hostetler led the IUSB offense with seven kills in match one while Bennett and Grott finished game two with nine and eight kills.
The IU South Bend passing game was led by junior setter
Emma Knowlton who concluded the day with 31 assists, 15 coming in game one and 16 coming in game two.
The Titans defense was anchored by
Suriya Van der Oord and
Abby Weber who each took turns leading the Titans in digs. Van der Oord ended game one with nine digs before Weber wrapped game two with 11 digs.
The IndianaUniversity South Bend Titans return to action on Thursday, September 5th, when they host Saint Xavier at 7:00 PM ET to begin CCAC play.
