Box Score CHICAGO, Ill. – Indiana University South Bend volleyball team earned its eighth Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory on Tuesday night after sweeping Saint Xavier (25-18, 25-17, 25-11) in Chicago, improving to 13-11 overall and 8-3 during conference play.

The Titans attacked at their best in the first set with an impressive .471 clip, defeating the Cougars by seven points. During the set, IUSB registered just one error while SXU had five with a .281 attacking percentage. For the night, IU South Bend attacked at a .293 rate while holding its opponent to just .019.
Inside the Shannon Center, junior transfer Hannah Marchand led the Titans with seven kills off 18 attempts while junior counterpart Alexis Issette added five. Sophomore McKenzie Powell dished out a game-high 14 assists and senior Samantha Hockstra added a game-high 13 digs.
Senior Sydney Lubinski led the way at the net with three block assists and two solo bocks to go along with four kills.
With the victory IUSB is now 6-5 on the road, improving to 4-5 overall against the Cougars in nine meetings. The Titans take a break from play until next week, hosting Calumet College of St. Joseph on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7:00 p.m. inside the Student Activities Center.
Following Tuesday's contest, IUSB welcomes Olivet Nazarene (10/24) and Goshen College (10/26) for Senior Day at 1:00 p.m.
